zomfg I'm damn sad my Jim died ): I'm really really sad ):
Once in a blue moonSo, I finally met up w/ Minyi &Clar ytd aft Minyi tried to ask me out 975312468 times. We went over to ikea for lunch &to buy photo frames. It was so funny cos I was looking high &low for mine but I couldn't find it until when I was abt to give up hope, I saw one among some other photo frames. So, kiasu me jumped/ran over grabbed it &said, 'Zomg my one &only.' &when we walked a little bit more, they found a whole lot more in one of the aisle that I totally missed. So much for my one &only.
Then we walked over to queensway &I found my nike dunks at 90bucks (ANYONE WANT TO SPONSOR ME?!) which was 10bucks cheaper than that sold in Tangs but I didn't buy it ): soon soon. We walked the WHOLE of queensway to search for Minyi's tights &my towel, &I can't believe that queensway so beeeeeg don't have towel zzzzz so some shopkeeper told me to try for this shop called 'Western sports blah blah' but we walked round &round but we could not find it ! Not even when Minyi's 'best friend' gave us directions, "Go down the stairs, the first shop on the left." Still cannot find. Until another shopkeeper told us it was some ulu stairs. So we happily went down &realise that the shop was called, 'WESTON sports blah blah' ..... &we had gone in before.
Anw before we left, we attempted to ask Macs whether they had 'non-fried' fries it was hilarious cos the aunty was like "what... what..." &I think Minyi got cheated by her friends. But is there seriously such a thing called NON FRIED FRIES ?!
Then I decided to accompany Minyi to NTU you know where it is freaking boon lay the other side of the island I've nvr been there my whole life! to watch match. So we had time to spare. We walked over to anchor point where all the factory outlets were like the Idkwhatplace in hongkong but more cheapo. But still, I bought a billabong wallet there for 20bucks! &we discovered this disney themed restaurant. It was awesome,
one &only in S'pore !

Don't ever try to stuff the whole waffle w/ ice-cream on top into your mouth
They have like pizzas &waffles in the mickey mouse head shape Damn cute. aiya everything in the menu was damn cute !!!! but the food was alright, nothing fantastic but the ambience 4.5 stars cos they kepy playing hsm ..... Anw when we went to ntu then found out kna cheated zzzzz so I went back disappointed, &had to travel 19stops !!!!! but it was quite fast prolly cos I had company (:
Okay, so now I have to focus on geog r paper ): + I haven't even finish buying my new year clothes !!! ): &Kx says that YISHUN's levi's has sale so I think I'm gna travel there to find my fade until cannot fade jeans + hopefully can find berms ! /cross fingers

TWENTYZERONINENot sleeping since 10am on 31/12 till 9am on 1/1 is definitely not the best way to welcome in the new yr. esp so if you had a drink too much + you just finished vigourous exercises namely boxing, golf, tennis &baseball on Wii + mahjong from 1am to 4am + bridge from 4am to 8:30am.
Now my nose is screwing up on the first day of the new yr (I think it's spoilt)
Hectic day ytd cos aft visiting poor Grace who has to spend her first few moments of 2009 in hosp, I had to go for 3 gatherings; cousin's house at Lor Ah Soo, Julian's house for steamboat at tamp &finally, Kim's at toa payoh, so I should say I spent most of the last moments of 2008 travelling.
Steamboat at J's house was awesome cos we had like 2.5kg of prawns to finish + XNR was showing when we were eating = hold bowl &stare at the teevee &curse &swear at Zhenzhu + laugh at Yuzhu. &at 11 when I arrived at K's house, feeling so guilty for being so l8 only to find out that RUBY PHONG LU HUI + YAP HUISAN PANGSEH US ! so much for saying they would be coming !!!!!!! &we forgot to count down (darn, missed the 5, 4, 3, 2, 1, 1) cos we were busy (laughing at ourselves) playing Wii so we only realised it was 2009 when we saw fireworks in a distance.
///////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////
So, 2008 was a memorable yr, or to me at least &I'm kinda sad that it has ended so fast. It feels like the earth is rotating faster &faster each yr, it's really scary.
Let's see what were some of the incredible events that happened in 2008:
1. My bunch of awesome friends from vj; Vic, Jy, Kx, my team, my classmates, my ex-classmates (Julynn) &so many more
2. My EC hehhehhehhehhehhehhehhehhehheh
3. Michael Phelps &his phenomenal conquer
4. June hols
5. Passing ECONS
6. I
can't think of anymore at the momentI feel kinda sad that 2008 has ended cos it was so amazing &it also means that I'm gna have to sit for As like damn soon, but prelims sooner, myes even sooner, Adiv even more sooner, R paper the soonest ): (I'm nowhere near done studying pls) Sounds like a depressing yr but the end of all these = SWEETNESS NVR THAT SWEET BEFORE so it's the only motivation I can give myself I guess.
I hope 2009 is gna be a great yr too &I'll try my v best to make that happen ....

NIPPON JA-PAN (exchange rate: 1ooyen = S$1.65)
Things I miss abt J:
1. Pple actually queue up to board trains, alight from trains &when they take the escalator. Another thing they do when they take the escalator, they will automatically stand on the left if they're not walking unlike some s'poreans (me) that hog both sides &preventing those in a rush (me) to use the right side.
2. Their amusing signboards
'Caution, drop!'
What's for dinner?
3. The cute
bottles in vending machines

4. The damn good
food
Ginormous baos !
Flavor of donut - Everything
(A not so nice) Bento! Not to mention their ramen, rice balls or triangles, gyoza, sushi, FRESH sashimi &roe that's 5x bigger than those in sakae sushi or sakura or ichiban or any sushi outlets in s'pore.
5. The awesome
fruits but damn eff-ing
expensive
Fuji Apples that are bigger than my fist. (hahaha plucked from mt fuji!)
These are FSTs lol
6. The shiok weather
to the extent that Carrie farted to see if there was smoke coming out from her ass lol
Pardon the unglamorous pose; I was trying to capture smoke.
Look at the mist behind.
Things I do not miss of J:
1. The crazy
population
A small portion of cars at Disneyland on a weekday.
(Shibuya)

Now you see them,
now you don't.
2. The complicated
tracks
They not only have green, red, purple &circle line.
3. The pple there can't speak other languages than jap for nuts.
So I had to learn how to speak their language using this 'Instant Japanese' book my uncle
brought &I mastered this line, & boy, am I proud of it!
Oh-tay-ah-rai wah doe koe dess kah? Guess what !
4. The normal trains a.k.a mrts
Esp so during peak hours. They're so packed that one can hardly breathe + the pple will just lean on you like free so it's like I have to support his whole weight + it was damn stuffy &warm in the train.
Awesome Things done in J:
1. Skiing &snowboarding +lots of falling down in Yusawa
What does this remind you of?
2. Open air hot springs semi-naked
3. Eat soft vinegar ice-cream, found tofu ice-cream &some other weird flavors but did not find my squid ink ice-cream ):
4. Saw a rather charming jap (receptionist of service apartment) :D:D:D
5. Go to a reaaaaaaaaal disneyland!

Grace !!!

This was taken at the tower of terror. We were all conned into taking the ride. It was so hilarious cos we all thought that it was a huanted mansion where ghouls will jump out to scare us but it ended up being a free fall ride. It was so damn unexpected ! Cos we were all seated in this metal cage like thing then it would rise to different levels where the doors would open to tell us the story of the tower &all of a sudden we were at the top level, looking at the scenery. I was like 'Oh shit, confirm freeeee ...' &down we went. Everyone was hysterical it was so damn funny.
We also visited this marketplace where there was a shrine &the food from the roadside stalls there were shiok + awesome !
The bigger &better version of tako pachi.
At the countryside, we took the 5 modes of transport in J - choo-choo train, cable car, gondola,
ferry &bus .________.
Cable car.
Gondola.
Scenery outside the gondola itself.
Carmen says this reminds her of ghost whisperer, 'Can you see the light...'
Byproduct of hot springs - sulphur.
Onboard the pirate-themed ferry.
In places of cold weather, the best way to keep warm is ... taking JUMPSHOTS!
bcos first you have to test the shutter's speed, then test the camera man's rxn so by the time all the tests are done, you would have jumped a million times.
&all the random shots,
Mom told us to apply more moisturizer ...
Photos of the most gorgeous boy ever, Dan Shane (:
For Colin Chou's viewing purposes (you can skip past the rest &just come right here lah tsk)
PS Wtheck I nvr want toblog like this again. My fingers are cramping, my eyelids are shutting, my back's aching. This post took me abt 5 effing hours &I'm finally freaking done ergh !
